Another Artist Quote
Another of my favorite artists (other than Nickel Creek) is Andrew Peterson. It was a great show. Andy is full of funny witty stories that he easily brings around (at least most of the time) to things that touch my soul and point to heavenly things. Was reading some comments by him today and he was talking about going to remote parts of Alaska to sing for some missionaries. He ended his comment with this statement which is so typical of him. I love the way he writes!

'May you all keep your eyes and ears open to the thousand quiet graces with which He fills your days, and may He keep my ears from freezing and falling off, because that would be unsightly and disturbing. Plus, I bet it would hurt.'

New Family Pictures
This past Sunday my grandparents were here and all my sisters came over my dad and Mila's house so we took the occasion to snap some Family Photos. Amy Lederman took some for me with her cool camra (I don't have those, yet) and here are some of the ones I took.

My dad gets out of the hospital tomorrow!!! Please keep praying for him. His liver is really sick, and is causing a lot of fluid build up and pressure which they relieved, but it is an on going issue.

Be Holy For I Am Holy
In my Bible 9 class we are studying the Holiness of God. Here are some quotes that have stuck out to me in studying this.

Continually restate to yourself what the purpose of your life is. The defined end of an individual is not happiness, not health, but holiness. The one thing that matters most is whether a person will accept the God who will make him holy. At all cost one must be rightly related to God. Do I believe I need to be holy? Do I believe God can come into me and make me holy? God has one destined end for humans - holiness. He is not an eternal 'blessing machine' for people. He did not come to save people out of pity; He came to save people because He had created them to be holy.

Jonathan and Denise's Wedding Pics
Jonathan and Denise got married outside of Denise's parents home this past weekend. The reception was held in their beautiful NEW BRICK COURTYARD.
During the Wedding/Reception:
A beautiful poem called, 'The Passionate Shepherd to His Love' was read.
The pastor forgot to say, 'You may kiss the bride' but THEY WERE NOT MOVING till he DID! LOL! I got a great pic of it!

Dad
They are not going to have to do surgery on my dad which is a good thing. He still has to stay in the hospital for a few more days, at least. I was really struggling yesterday not to be anxious about everything, but by God's grace and friend's giving me encouraging reminders of God's Word, today I am resting in God. Keep praying for God's complete healing and ABOVE ALL, For GOD's Name to be Glorified in everything!

Grace Like Rain
Hey, just wanted to ask everyone to pray for my dad. I think he is going to have to go into the hospital today. His health is declining, and the cancer is causing lots of pain. God has been good to us to care for us in so many spiritual and tangable/physical ways. Our church family and many other friends are so good to us and my grandparents are here to help out too!
We believe in God's healing power and are praying for that! We appreciate all the prayers!
God is good! God Pours on HIS grace!

Do Good to All
Paul must have been an incredible person to know. He is such an encourager, but also an exhorter. So is true with the following scripture from Titus 3. He is exhorting Tituss to REMIND OTHERS TO DO GOOD TO ALL PEOPLE! There are so many places in this passage that encouraged and convicted me. I love how he exhorts us to do good to others by reminding us the awesome goodness and mercy that God has apportioned to us.

Verse 4-5 is a good reminder to me of God's incredible mercy. It says, 'But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.'

Titus 3:1-7
REMIND PEOPLE to be submissive to [their] magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be prepared and willing to do any upright and honorable work,
To slander or abuse or speak evil of no one, to avoid being contentious, to be forbearing (yielding, gentle, and conciliatory), and to show unqualified courtesy toward everybody.
For we also were once thoughtless and senseless, obstinate and disobedient, deluded and misled; [we too were once] slaves to all sorts of cravings and pleasures, wasting our days in malice and jealousy and envy, hateful (hated, detestable) and hating one another.
But when the goodness and loving-kindness of God our Savior to man [as man] appeared,
